Kevin Kasych, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician with more than 24 years of clinical experience. After graduating cum laude from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, he attended Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, graduating in 1999. Dr. Kasych completed his pediatric internship and residency at North Shore University Hospital on Long Island, New York.

He served in the U.S. Navy as a general medical officer on the USS Abraham Lincoln, earning the Navy Achievement Medal. After fulfilling the remainder of his commitment as a Navy pediatrician at a Naval Hospital in Lemoore, California, Dr. Kasych earned the Navy Commendation Medal.

Separating from service with an honorable discharge, Dr. Kasych worked as an emergency room, hospitalist, and outpatient attending physician at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Moving to Jacksonville, Florida, in 2010, he has been practicing and loving outpatient pediatrics ever since, achieving Top Doctor Jacksonville recognition for two consecutive years. Dr. Kasych has a passion for medical education and has been a preceptor for many students, residents, and advanced practitioners over the years. He believes in passing that knowledge on to his patients and their families. He lives at the beaches with his wife, two children, and their golden retriever.
