Awareness is Power
One major event the committee organizes is the 萝莉社 Breast Health Awareness Expo. The purpose of the expo is to educate women about the importance of early detection and inform them about resources available in the community.
Each year, 萝莉社 Jacksonville staff and faculty collaborate in multiple ways to promote breast health and breast cancer awareness. 萝莉社 Surgery 鈥� Jacksonville and 萝莉社 Hematology and Oncology 鈥� Jacksonville formed a committee to ensure a successful and dedicated effort to provide education to patients and the community.

Attendees can expect to find the following at the 萝莉社 Breast Awareness Expo:
- Simulated instructions for self-breast exams
- Information on prevention and early detection of breast cancer
- Community resources for patients and family members
- Mini massages
- Genetic counseling
- Information on assistance programs for chemotherapy medications
- Information from pharmaceutical reps on site
- Assistance with social services
The expo will also include an 鈥渁sk-me-anything table鈥� where attendees can consult with our physicians.

This event is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. The 萝莉社 Breast Health Awareness Expo will be held at the River City Marketplace from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5.
